Life Coaching at Lifehouse by Beccy Miller!
Hello! I’m Beccy and I am the resident Life Coach at Lifehouse. This is my first blog so I thought it would be good to start with a little bit about me and what I do.
I trained for my Masters in Coaching and Mentoring at Oxford Brookes University and also have a background in teaching. I still enjoy coaching teachers to help them develop the right skills and attitudes to be positive, independent thinkers and learners which is a theme I continue throughout my coaching.
What is Life Coaching?
In a nutshell, a variety of strategies are used in coaching individuals, couples and groups to help them identify and understand the emotional patterns and relationship dynamics that can cause anxiety, poor communication, lack of direction and conflict. I then work with my clients to undo these patterns so they can create and enjoy the relationships and life they want.
I work by taking the time to understand that every one of us is unique and that coaching is not a one size fits all process. I use a holistic process that looks at the individual as a whole as well as part of the relationships they are in.
Working at Lifehouse where everything is about a holistic approach to well-being makes my coaching even more personalised and effective for Lifehouse guests.
