How to Spa

Welcome to Lifehouse, and congratulations on taking a step closer to a relaxed and happier you! From the moment you arrive, you’ll discover that our ethos is based on a holistic approach to your health and wellbeing. Many of you may have experienced a spa visit before, but if you haven’t, then you might find this guide useful to help you make the most out of your stay, no matter how long or short you’re planning on being with us.

  • Come ready to relax, let all your worries disappear and allow us to take care of you fully throughout your stay.
  • If you wish to make a booking for 6 guests or more, please contact us and we can help schedule your visit to ensure that all members of your party get the most from their stay.
  • At Lifehouse we have a restaurant, bar and a juice bar available to you. Our restaurant, though relaxed and informal, is waiter service, and in order to give you the best possible service we do ask that you reserve a table for both lunch and dinner.
  • Please try to arrive 20 minutes before your appointment to avoid any rushing and so that we can dedicate the right amount of time to you.
  • Avoid wearing any jewellery to your appointments as it’s more than likely you will have to remove it. We provide a safe in each bedroom so you can keep your belongings safe while you’re away from your room.
  • Drink plenty of water between each treatment and throughout the day to keep your body hydrated and to maximise the benefits of your time here.
  • If you plan to exercise then  try to fit this in before any massage bookings, as opposed to afterwards, so that you can gain the full benefits of your therapy.
  • Use the heat facilities, such as our relaxing sauna and steam room, prior to any bodywork or massage treatments to relax your muscles.
  • Make the most of your stay by getting out in the gardens for some fresh air to ensure you leave with the best possible after spa glow!
  • Leave plenty of time between each treatment so that you can completely relax and not have to worry about the time. No rushing allowed!
  • Don’t over pack! Your stay at Lifehouse is a time to relax and forget your worries, so try to keep things simple by packing light.
  • We provide complimentary slippers and free use of a robe for you to use during your stay and we want you to be entirely comfortable, so it is your choice whether to dress for dinner or stay in your robe.
  • If you feel like taking a nap, then allow yourself time to close your eyes and really recharge your batteries.
  • We ask you to please not take any photographs in our spa area.
  • Lifehouse is a mobile phone, blackberry and electronic device free area except for within the privacy of your own bedroom - although we want you to be able to escape from the world we know how important it can be to keep in touch with home or work while you’re away. To assist with this all our bedrooms have free Wi-Fi access to make keeping in touch easier.
  • We ask you to please respect the peace and tranquillity that Lifehouse offers and not disturb this through overly noisy or disruptive behaviour. We may ask any guest to leave if their behaviour is considered to be inappropriate, likely to cause harm, or impair the enjoyment or safety of any other guest or member of staff.  No refunds or compensation will be given in these circumstances and we reserve the right to refuse any future bookings from guests who do not follow our etiquette.

If you have any questions then please don’t hesitate to ask us anything, it’s what we’re here for!

Smile! And enjoy your stay at Lifehouse!
