What is it?
Fine needles are inserted at certain sites in the body for therapeutic or preventative purposes. Acupuncture stimulates your energy flow for overall wellbeing, session includes shiatsu for a unique experience.
During a session a full case history is taken and pulses and tongue are examined in order to help make a decision for an individual treatment plan.
How does it work?
It involves stimulating sensory nerves under the skin and in the muscles of the body. This results in the body producing natural substances, such as pain-relieving endorphins.
Who is it for?
Those with pain conditions such as arthritic joints, back pain and for people who feel generally unwell but have no obvious diagnosis. It is especially beneficial for those who are trying to conceive.
