Organised by the UK-based Professional Beauty group, which has hosted spa and beauty awards for two decades, the World Spa & Wellness Awards incorporate a thorough and independent judging process in which all spas are assessed by experienced industry professionals.
Even being a finalist for the awards marks out a business as one the world’s best spas, while a win can establish them on a global scale as a truly exceptional facility. As well as raising the spas’ profile, being shortlisted also gives a boost to team morale and provides businesses with an opportunity to reflect on their achievements.
The Resort Spa of the Year category celebrates resort-based spas that go above and beyond to provide treatments that are personalised and perfectly executed, in relaxing and beautifully designed surroundings.
All finalists have been assessed by a panel of independent industry experts, including an official judge who visited the properties, looking at their performance across a wide range of criteria.
Winners will be announced at a glamorous black-tie dinner on Sunday, February 25 at Tobacco Dock in London, where the winners of the Professional Beauty Awards will also be revealed. As well as provide an opportunity to celebrate, the event also allows guests to network with the world’s leading spas, salons and product houses, grow their industry community and develop professional relationships that last a lifetime.
